Cosmetic surgery is playing an important role in the match-making process for several Indians. Tanisha Sabarwal, a 26-year-old from Delhi, just got a nose job, so that a sharper and more attractive profile could find her a handsome husband.
Like Tanisha, several other young people in urban India are going under the knife to get a makeover before marriage. Plastic surgeons feel that these days both men and women want to look attractive before marriage and this is the reason why they are flocking to surgeons for nips and tucks. Removing dark circles, scars and pimple marks, rhinoplasty and breast augmentation are some of the popular cosmetic procedures for young people entering the marriage market.
