Cosmetic surgery is the latest trend among men in Dubai. This trend is fuelled by career concerns – it’s believed that better-looking people are more likely to be more successful and make more money than their unattractive counterparts.

Older men with good jobs are going in for a younger and energetic look to prevent employers from thinking that they are too old for their job and ready to be phased out. Improvement in the appearance also adds to their confidence and self esteem.

The growth in cosmetic surgery for men has been enormous. About 30 per cent of the patients in the plastic surgery departments of hospitals comprise of men, as compared to the five per cent four years back.  Plastic surgery for men is growing in popularity as more men opt for liposuction to remove extra fat from the belly and chest.

Other popular cosmetic surgery procedures for men include Botox injections, rhinoplasty, eyelift, partial face and neck lifts.
