Several women out there would like plumper, more voluptuous breasts, but can’t afford to pay for the breast surgery. Jay Moore’s website called MyFreeImplants are for all such women who can’t wait to get bouncier breasts but don’t have the money for plastic surgery.
Women who want breast augmentation post their photos on the site, and male donors may contribute to the cause. They correspond through anonymous messages. Since 2005, the site has helped 2,500 young women raise more than a quarter of a million dollars.
The Web site has gotten a bit of media attention; most of it ranging from shocked to sarcastic. Moore deflects criticism by groups such as the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons by noting that he requires all the women to use a board-certified doctor to perform the surgery.
