Excess baggage of weight, extra rolls of fat and a beer belly can be acquired because of many reasons – long hours at your desk; a sedentary job; rich food and lack of exercise. If you want to loose all that weight and the beginnings of a paunch, you have sweat it out.
You can begin by enrolling yourself in a gym or if you already are a member of a gym, then try altering your workout. Just going to the gym is not enough – you need to make optimum use of the machines for best results. Good fat burning exercises include running on the treadmill, using the cross trainer and stepper, spinning, aerobics and sporting activities such as tennis, squash and swimming. Exercising leads to an increased heart rate, which results in weight loss.
To loose stomach fat, mix these routines with crunches. It’s a good idea to take the help of a trainer. You could begin with sixty minutes in the gym thrice a week. If you can’t afford to spend so much of time, then try 30-35 minutes every day. Being regular is an important part of exercising.
If like exercising outdoors, try jogging or running. Both are great cardio-vascular exercises that can combat a beer belly. You can begin with running or jogging for 30-minutes a day and then move up to 50-minutes a day, thrice a week. If you’re running on the treadmill, try the uphill mode for 20 minutes for best results.
Yoga is another way to battle the bulge. Yoga enables your system to be cleansed of all toxins and wastes. It tackles the internals first. It’s a good idea to learn yoga by going to classes or referring to a book, rather than trying postures on tour own.
Along with a regular exercise regime, you need to pay attention to your food habits. It’s important to avoid deep-fried food and cut down on alcohol because it’s nothing but empty calories. Opt for lighter dressings on your salad, choose brown bread instead of white and cook your food in olive oil, known to contain 60 percent less fat.
